PUBLIC NOTICE The Lynchburg City Council will hold a public hearing for citizen comment on March 9, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber, first floor, City Hall, 900 Church Street, on the following matters: Petition of AC Capital, LLC (Will Andrews) to rezone approximately three hundred eighty-five thousandths (0.385) of an acre located at 400, 404 and 406 12th Street from B-5, General Business District to B-4 Urban Commercial District to allow the development and redevelopment of the property for commercial and residential uses. Petition of Appalachian Power Company for a Conditional Use Permit in an R-1, Low Density Residential District and R-3, Medium Density Residential District to allow the expansion of the existing electrical substation at 200 Old Trents Ferry Road. A copy of all draft ordinances, Future Land Use Map amendments, rezoning, conditional use permit petitions or any other matter advertised by this legal notice may be viewed on the internet at https://www.lynchburgva.gov/planning. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission/Council will consider adopting each item advertised by this legal notice.
