LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Volume 3A, Title 15.2, Counties, Cities and Towns, of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, and pursuant to §15.2-2204, §15.2-2309, and §15.2-2310 the Nelson County Board of Zoning Appeals hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the General District Courtroom on the third floor of the Nelson County Courthouse located at 84 Courthouse Square, Lovingston, for the following: NOTICE: In alignment with current COVID-19 guidelines, and to guard the health and safety of all meeting attendees, physical distancing and the wearing of face masks will be required in the courtroom. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. Should current guidance change prior to the date of the meeting, the guidelines in place at the time will be adhered to. Variance # 2020-01 Consideration of a request from Harris and Susan Luscomb for a Variance to reduce the minimum required front setback of 75 feet from the center of the road, to 50 feet from the center of the road, for construction of a single-family dwelling. The subject property is zoned A-1 Agricultural and is owned by Harris and Susan Luscomb. The property contains 2.4 acres, is located on Mimosa Lane in Faber and further identified as Tax Map Parcel # 33-7-17R.
