VIRGINIA: IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE COUNTY OF AMHERST County of Amherst, Plaintiff, v. ORDER OF PUBLICATION Court File No.: CL20000531-00 Patsy J. Rogers, et al., Tax Map No.: 127-1-42 Defendants. To: Patsy J. Rogers, Wilma L. Wilcox, Lydia Hoover, and Parties Unknown The object of this suit is to enforce the lien for taxes assessed by the County of Amherst, Virginia, against certain real property designated on the County Tax Map as 5.015 acres, more or less, in the Court House Magisterial District, and having Tax Map Number 127-1-42. An Affidavit having been made and filed that Patsy J. Rogers, is a nonresident individual, other than a nonresident individual fiduciary who has appointed a statutory agent under §64.2-1426, and that diligence has been used without effect to ascertain the location of Patsy J. Rogers, whose last known post office address is 11 Stuart Ave., Hanover, Pennsylvania 17331; that Wilma L. Wilcox is a nonresident individual, other than a nonresident individual fiduciary who has appointed a statutory agent under §64.2-1426, and that diligence has been used without effect to ascertain the location of Wilma L. Wilcox, whose last known post office address is 11 Stuart Ave., Hanover, Pennsylvania 17331; that Lydia Hoover is a nonresident individual, other than a nonresident individual fiduciary who has appointed a statutory agent under §64.2-1426, and diligence has been used without effect to ascertain the location of Lydia Hoover, whose last known post office address is 11 Stuart Ave., Hanover, Pennsylvania 17331; and that there are or may be persons interested in the subject property by virtue of being the unknown heirs, devisees, or successors in interest of Patsy J. Rogers, Wilma L. Wilcox, and Lydia Hoover, whose names and addresses are unknown, who have been made defendants under the general description of Parties Unknown; it is hereby ORDERED that each of the parties appear on or before the 20th day of August, 2021, and do whatever is necessary to protect their interests in said land. It is further ORDERED, pursuant to Section 8.01-321 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, that this Order of Publication be published once a week for four (4) successive weeks in the Amherst New Era-Progress, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Amherst, Virginia; and a copy of this Order be posted at the front door of the Courthouse at Amherst, Virginia, and that a copy of this Order be mailed to each Defendant at the address shown by the aforesaid Affidavit.
