Details for PIEDMONT COMM.HEALTH PLAN/MEDIA LOGIC
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PIEDMONT COMMUNITY HEALTH PLAN REGARDING OUR 2021 MARKETPLACE PLANS COVID-19-Related Member Assistance to Continue Through 2021 For our 2021 Piedmont Exchange plans, we are continuing our COVID-related member assistance programs, including the mandated diagnostic testing waiver, and our telehealth cost-sharing waiver. This means you will have the ability to visit with a practitioner on routine primary care from the comfort of your own home at no cost to you through Centra 24/7. We at Piedmont believe that allowing access to Centra 24/7 telehealth services at no charge allows us to help ensure there are fewer barriers to receiving routine primary care, and also helps minimize risk to COVID-19 by allowing access to quality care remotely. This Centra 24/7 benefit is especially helpful for members in situations which otherwise could lead to an appointment at an urgent care facility. Urgent care services require out-of-pocket expenses for every visit, regardless of the plan chosen, until the plan’s maximum limit is reached. Services at Centra 24/7 do not require any member out-of-pocket expenses. Piedmont encourages you to contact an insurance broker to answer any questions. Information on the range of services offered by Centra 24/7 is available at www.Centra247.com. Reminder: Open Enrollment for 2021 coverage on the Health Insurance Marketplace ends December 15, 2020. Piedmont is proud to help during this challenging time. You are our neighbors. This is our home. Due to COVID-19, our physical office is closed and unavailable for walk-in service. We will reopen once conditions permit. Piedmont representatives are available by phone at 434-947-4463.
