Lynchburg's Vector Space hosts engineering mentoring program
On Tuesday, the Lynchburg nonprofit makerspace Vector Space hosted a group of 40 high school students from around the region who were mentored by engineers from nuclear services firms BWX Technologies and Framatome. The students and mentors were separated into two teams for a collaborative building project. They worked together using woodworking skills as well as power tools to create the final product, a stage. — Paige Dingler
