Nelson County residents make, distribute Black Lives Matter signs

Set up toward the back of the parking lot of the Food Lion in Lovingston, Nelson County residents Rose Harper and Grace Clair on Tuesday distributed homemade Black Lives Matter signs for free to residents.

Harper said she started the "BLM signs for Nelson County" project more than a month ago as a way to help raise awareness and support of the movement in the county. So far, Harper estimated more than 25 signs have been distributed. Clair said the distribution event was a first for the group.
