The Commonwealth Games brought more than just athletes to the Hill City in 2016. According to economic impact data analyzed by the Lynchburg Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau, and released to The News & Advance last week, athletes and their guests spent $1.6 million in the Lynchburg region.
