PHOTOS: Investiture of Nelson Circuit Court Judge Frank Wright

A packed courtroom on July 17 celebrated the investiture of Frank Wright, who this month began serving as presiding judge in Nelson County Circuit Court.

Wright, a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law who practiced for 29 years as an attorney in Campbell County where he is from, was a substitute judge for 12 years in the 24th Judicial District. With family by his side, he was sworn in by Michael Doucette, who recently retired as Nelson Circuit Court’s judge after just more than six years.
