PHOTOS: Amherst’s Independence-Colonial Day event
Visitors to the Amherst County Museum and Historical Society were able to take a journey back in time Saturday. Living history interpreters brought attendees through the process of making linen, showed off the equipment militia members carried and read out the Declaration of Independence.
