After an eventful offseason, NFL training camp kicks off this week. Through the draft and free agency, there are plenty of well-known players with new homes this season.
Meaning, for NFL fans, there are a lot of new jerseys to buy.
Out of the top five best-selling NFL jerseys in the first six months of 2022, according to the NFL Shop, three of them are for players with new teams.
And out of the top 10, eight of the best-selling jerseys are of quarterbacks.
Let’s take a look at the list:
No. 1 Russell Wilson
The veteran quarterback who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks and was a nine-time Pro Bowler, was traded to the Denver Broncos in the offseason.
No. 2 Josh Allen
The Buffalo Bills quarterback is one of the most popular players in the league, and had his team one overtime coin flip away from playing for the AFC championship. This year, Allen and the Bills are projected by many to be the favorite to win Super Bowl 57.
No. 3 Davante Adams
The wide receiver was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders from the Green Bay Packers in the offseason. Last year, Adams set a single-season Packers’ record for receptions (123) and receiving yards (1,553). He’s the only player in NFL history with 115-plus catches, 1,350-plus yards and more than 11 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons.
No. 4 Kenny Pickett
The rookie quarterback was drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers, keeping him in the Steel City, as he played at Pitt and was the ACC Player of the Year last season, leading the Panthers to the conference championship.
No. 5 Tom Brady
The surefire first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback is back for another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two years removed from leading them to a Super Bowl. In his 22-year career, Brady has won seven Super Bowls and has five times been named the game’s MVP. He owns multiple NFL records, including wins (243), passing yards (84,520) and passing touchdowns (624).
No. 6 Mac Jones
The New England Patriots quarterback was a first-round draft pick in 2021 out of Alabama. In his first year with the Patriots, Jones was eighth in the NFL with a 67.6 completion percentage and was the first rookie QB to win 10 games since Dak Prescott did it in 2016.
No. 7 Cooper Kupp
The Super Bowl 56 MVP for the Los Angeles Rams, Kupp had a brilliant season at wide receiver. He led the NFL in receptions (145) and touchdown catches (16). He also had the most 20-plus-yard catches (30).
No. 8 Justin Herbert
Last season, the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback was second in the league in passing yards (5,014) and third in touchdown passes (38). The gunslinger from Oregon also had the second-most completions (443).
No. 9 Patrick Mahomes
The Kansas City quarterback led the Chiefs to the AFC championship game last season, the fourth consecutive conference championship they’ve competed in. The 2018 NFL MVP and Super Bowl LIV MVP was fourth in passing yards last season (4,839) and fourth in touchdown passes (37).
No. 10 Joe Burrow
In just his second season the quarterback led the Cincinnati Bengals to Super Bowl 56, where they eventually fell to the Rams. Burrow led the NFL in QB rating (108.3) as well as completion percentage (70.4).
